Welcome to the website of JS Virtual Bookkeeping Inc. (“JS Virtual Bookkeeping,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, including its content, contact features, consultation-scheduling links, and other resources.
By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue your use of the website.
JS Virtual Bookkeeping Inc. is an Illinois bookkeeping firm providing bookkeeping and related support services to small and medium-sized businesses.
Services may include bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up, transaction recording and categorization, account reconciliation, accounts receivable and accounts payable support, financial reporting, payroll bookkeeping support, 1099 preparation support, bookkeeping-software setup and training, and other agreed-upon bookkeeping services.
Services displayed on this website are examples of services that may be available. Not every service is included in every client engagement.
The information provided on this website is for general informational and educational purposes. It does not constitute accounting, tax, legal, investment, financial-planning, lending, or other professional advice.
Website content may not reflect a visitor’s specific circumstances or the most recent legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory developments. You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions requiring specialized advice.
JS Virtual Bookkeeping is not a Certified Public Accounting firm and does not provide audits, reviews, compilations, assurance services, legal advice, or investment advice.
Visiting this website, submitting a contact form, sending an email, calling us, or scheduling a consultation does not create a bookkeeper-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, advisory, or other professional relationship.
A professional relationship begins only after JS Virtual Bookkeeping and the client execute a separate written Service Agreement identifying the agreed-upon services, compensation, responsibilities, and other engagement terms.
We are not obligated to accept an engagement merely because someone contacts us or schedules a consultation.
Consultations are intended to help us understand a prospective client’s bookkeeping needs, determine whether our services may be a suitable fit, and discuss potential scope and pricing.
Scheduling a consultation does not guarantee:
We may decline a consultation or engagement when the requested work falls outside our expertise, availability, security requirements, professional standards, or business policies.
Paid services are governed by a separate written Service Agreement.
Each client’s selected services, scope, compensation, and applicable payment terms are identified in Schedule A or another written attachment to the Service Agreement. Only services expressly included in the executed agreement are part of the engagement.
Services not included in Schedule A are outside the agreed scope and may require a written amendment, separate engagement, and additional compensation.
If these website Terms conflict with an executed Service Agreement, Schedule A, or authorized written amendment, the executed client agreement will control with respect to paid services.
Website descriptions, consultations, communications, and promotional materials do not constitute a binding offer.
Pricing depends on factors that may include the number of financial accounts, transaction volume, complexity, condition of the books, software used, reporting requirements, service frequency, and amount of cleanup required.
The final scope, pricing, deposit, invoicing schedule, and payment terms will be stated in the client’s Service Agreement, Schedule A, proposal, invoice, or other authorized written agreement.
The accuracy and timeliness of bookkeeping services depend on the information provided by the client.
Clients are responsible for:
Unless expressly included in a written agreement, JS Virtual Bookkeeping does not audit or independently verify the accuracy or completeness of information provided by a client or third party.
Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, banking credentials, tax identification numbers, payment-card information, or sensitive financial documents through a general website contact form or ordinary email.
Prospective and existing clients should use secure document-sharing and communication methods provided or approved by JS Virtual Bookkeeping.

We strive to provide accurate, organized, and professional bookkeeping support. However, we do not guarantee any specific business, financial, tax, lending, profitability, compliance, credit, or operational result.

These website Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The dispute-resolution provisions contained in an executed client Service Agreement—including any negotiation, mediation, arbitration, governing-law, or related requirements—govern disputes arising from paid client services.
These website Terms do not replace or modify dispute-resolution provisions contained in an executed client agreement.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our website, services, business practices, or legal requirements.
Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through another appropriate method when required by law.
